We’re extremely privileged to have a guest mix from SF’s Jason Douglas! JD is a relentless digger (and finder) of amazing jams of all eras. His DJ trajectory – starting in 1992 – from Dallas to SF has seen him in the business of used vinyl online (vinyldj.com), production (highly sought-after deep house 12″s from The Attendants), and curation (with Matt Holland) of the monthly Deep Crates club night celebrating the various corners of dance music history, and SF’s powerful vinyl selectors. We are exceptionally thankful for this mix, as not only is it packed full of the deepest Italo, it’s likely his last before relocating to Portland! Hi and thanks to everyone who’s been listening, keeping us in mind, and spreading the word!  Last year at around this time, we were honored to be asked to play an extended tag-team set at a special outdoor event called Plunge. We owe the event organizers and its music coordinators a huge thanks for the opportunity to stretch out musically for 3 hours — just like we did every Friday night on our FM radio show — as the sun went down over a gorgeous northern California setting.  Thankfully, the set was recorded, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed presenting it.  — Matt & David

This slow builder comes in with some quirky 80s dance tracks and spaced-out disco (including one of the best Italo tracks we’ve ever heard), moving into Chicago’s mid-90s deep house sound before the dub techno rinse-out. Check out the new shimmering Newworldaquarium remix and two killer tracks on the Laid label from Lawrence and Kassem Mosse. This one’s extra long to give those tracks some breathing room. -David
