Part 1 > Moody. Do I use that word enough? Moody intro from Japan, a sulker from New Order, and Frankie Knuckles dubbed-out mix of italo disco by Jago. Flows into moody pre-dawn loft house from Iken on London’s Real Soon imprint. Recent deep (dare I say moody) house on local Tetrode label, and funked up synth-driven expressions from Daniel Wang and recent Metro Area. New lush techno from Arne Weinberg connects the mood to all-time Chicago classic from Virgo. In other words: Feelin’ Moody.

Part 2 > dave plunges the mothership underwater with dub techno from deepchord, and resurfaces in late-summer style with a coastal wash from sensurreal. the hypnotic ebb continues with a collaboration between chicago’s josh werner & baby pop, and a smooth ride from UR’s andre holland.

New D-techno soul from Colin Zyskowski featuring fresh, moving vocals by Paul Randolph. part 2 > starting with a cold spell brought on by germany’s move d, we go a little vintage with todd terry, and back through a few dub techno heavyweights. a new downtempo gem from arovane and self-released music from chicago’s eliot lipp bridge over into an early jack track from dj rush, winding down with smooth cuts from kirk degiorgio and duplex.
