This is one of the first sets I’ve done in a good while that ended up techno from start to finish. The faster start is a mish-mash of sub-genres, but it flows with a sense of dub as the undercurrent. A mind-melting Demdike Stare track winds down the first part, setting a middle-range tempo for the second part, which eventually fires up a dark dancefloor. -David

Moving fast!
I was just listening to that skull disco last night =) And VSVN, that was probably one of the first 10 records I ever bought (and one of the few that I still like from that time.)
Ouch, just back from a drink and time to delve the Mind Machine. Holy shit, them’s some deep dub tracks, very much love the mind meld. God I love techno, what a sound!
As always a super quality mix from dearly loved educators. Thanks once again Dave and Matt.
Whaaat? Just read the playlist to notice Steve Poindexter was still releasing in 2006.
Chaotic Nation on Chicago Underground was one of the first records I ever bought.
As ever …… Always a pleasure to listen to your mixes.
