yes I do remember you..
thanks for your very kind words. I look back at the WNUR broadcast show with a hazy glow.. driving up lakeshore drive from the city to the station, night falling all around, friday buzz in the air, walking from the parking lot through that eerie little forest in mist, snow, or evening beauty, up the weird little path to the tiny studio to do our thing. for all those years, really a ritual. so your comments are really nice to hear that we made an impression on the next generation of WNUR and radio DJs. I hope you will join our mailing list and you’ll get an email whenever we push a new site live. BTW we’re overdue for a new one this fall, soon enough.. -Matt

hey matt and dave–actually just swung by to see your dj bios page (i love those guys!). but it’s awesome to see you guys still putting mixes out there! i don’t know if you recall my name but i was streetbeat producer for a year while clinically inclined was around, and you guys were always my favorite show on the station (seriously!). you guys have a deep pool of knowledge that nobody else i worked with could even touch. when i was digging around in the stacks i would always take a listen to anything that had dave’s handwriting on it. i was very sad to see ci’s end, especially given that the representation of your style of music on wnur pretty much went with it. so it’s terrific to see that the two of you are still at it. i’ll try to tune in periodically, as it were.

here’s to many more fantastic mixes, gents.
